The red dot on the map is the meeting venue - Newcastle Civic Centre.

A private coach service () has been organised to transfer delegates between the Copthorne Hotel and the Civic Centre. The provisional timetable is as below. Updates to the timetable will be posted on noticeboards in the hotel foyer, at the registration desk at the Civic Centre, and on social media links, and of course here.

By rail

As a major stop on the efficient East Coast Mainline, Newcastle Gateshead is just 2 hours 45 minutes from central London and 1 hour 30 minutes from Edinburgh and Leeds. Newcastle's glorious Central Station is located in the heart of the city centre and has its own Metro Station. Beware that this Metro Station will be closed every evening from 8pm for refurbishment (more details here).

By air

Newcastle International Airport is one of the UK's fastest growing regional airports and has recently benefited from a £7m extension programme. With airlines including Emirates, British Airways, KLM, Air France, easyJet and Jet2 all flying into our airport – you won't struggle to get here. The airport is just 23 minutes from the city centre by Metro. Beware that the Metro Station closest to the Copthorne Hotel ("Central Station") will be closed every evening from 8pm for refurbishment (more details here). Your choices are: alight at the previous Metro station ("Monument") and walk for 15 mins, or take a taxi straight from the airport.

By road

The A1(M) passes through Newcastle Gateshead linking the area to London, the South, Scotland and major routes across the country. The A69 links west to Carlisle, the Lake District and, via the M6, to the South and West of England. There is no parking at the Civic Centre. Parking at the Copthorne Hotel is limited but free if you present your delegate badge at reception prior to exiting the car park.
